🎯 Why MetricTen was created

Traditional examinations usually produce a single outcome — pass or fail. Such outcomes do not adequately reflect how understanding develops over time.

MetricTen was created to address this limitation. By dividing a subject into ten levels, MetricTen allows knowledge to be measured in stages, offering a clearer and more meaningful view of progression rather than a one-time judgement.

The MetricTen process follows a clear and disciplined structure:

  • A participant selects a subject.
  • Each subject is organised into ten sequential levels.
  • Participation begins from Level 1.
  • Each level consists of an online examination in multiple-choice format.
  • Upon clearing a level: result issued, level-specific digital certificate provided, eligibility granted for next level.
  • A participant may discontinue after any level or continue further, entirely by choice.

Participation always begins from Level 1 of the selected subject. Direct entry into higher levels is not permitted.
6. Is it compulsory to complete all ten levels?
No. A participant may stop after completing any level. There is no obligation to proceed further once a level is cleared.
7. How does progression from one level to the next work?
Progression is allowed only after successful completion of the previous level. Levels are sequential and cannot be skipped.
8. Is there any time limit to complete all levels?
No fixed time limit is imposed. Participants may progress at a pace suitable to them.
9. How are the examinations conducted?
All MetricTen examinations are conducted online and use a multiple-choice question format appropriate to the level.
10. What happens if a level is not cleared?
If a level is not cleared, the same level may be reattempted. A reduced reattempt fee applies as per the prescribed structure.
11. Is there a limit on the number of reattempts?
At present, there is no fixed limit on the number of reattempts unless specified otherwise for a particular subject or level.
12. Are results declared level-wise?
Yes. Each level has its own result. Results of previous levels remain unchanged irrespective of later performance.
13. Are certificates issued for every level?
Yes. A digital certificate is issued for each level that is successfully cleared.
14. What are milestone certificates?
Milestone certificates are issued at Level 3, Level 6, and Level 10 to mark significant stages of progression.
